Technokom applied Kaizen method and reinforced 5S technique in production managementOn March 10, 2017, Technokom JSC conducted a ceremony to announce the establishment of Kaizen Department and the reinforcement of 5S technique in production management. The two key features of Kaizen are continuous improvement and involvement of the entire workforce in this process. The workforce, even workers, need to participate in producing small but frequent changes by making suggestions for improvement in both processes and products.
The purpose of this ceremony is to maintain a more organized and efficient production as well as implementation of a lean system. It helps employees to learn the fundamental concepts of Kaizen method and 5S technique that will improve quality and productivity of products.
After this event, everyone will look around their own work areas to discover small problems. At the same time, consider some possible ways to resolve these ones. Technokom’s Kaizen Committee states that Kaizen is not just about finding a problem, it’s being creative to come up with a possible solution. Employees who find irregulars at factory will submit problems with their own solutions to Kaizen Committee. If solutions are choosen, the Committee has authority to take action.
These incremental changes will add up to Technokom’s sustainable development over the longer term and help the Company adapt to its changing environment.
